For the Ones Finding Their Way Back was created for that strange space between who you were and whoever you are becoming.
The cover features an original Heaven’s Pockets fairy in a quiet moment of rest. Her wings are still beautiful, but they are no longer untouched. Delicate, worn, and adorned with tiny crystal details, they carry the evidence of where she has been.
She isn’t shown soaring or triumphantly rising above it all.
She’s simply here. Because sometimes that’s the truest part of the story.
The Story Behind Worn Wings
Worn Wings was created with love, inspired by my daughter Jazlyn and her journey to find her way back to herself after becoming ill with autoimmune encephalitis in 2025. She is still finding her way back. This journal grew from that journey, but it was created for anyone whose wings have been worn by grief, illness, heartbreak, caregiving, or simply making it through something they never expected.
